Lapstone & Hammer will again collaborate with ASICS to further its dye collection. After launching the “Indigo” pack in February, the two will launch something special in May 2024. Known as the “Dip Dye” Pack, three colorways of the Gel-Kayano 14 will be introduced in bright Summer shades. The trio is inspired by global morning routines and how personal routines shape our day.
The three colorways of the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 include Coffee, Matcha, and Ube. The Brown pair represents Coffee, which most people drink to start their day. Green is for Matcha, a Japanese tea now enjoyed worldwide, and Purple is for Ube, a Filipino Purple yam flavor used in lattes and bubble tea, also known as boba. The men’s pairs will feature dark and bold looks, with suede and mesh. As for the women’s pairs, it features lighter and vibrant suede, while mesh absorbs the dye. Since each pair is hand-dipped, each will feature a unique look, making them a one-of-one.
