Jordan Brand’s ‘Chinese New Year’ Collection Celebrates the Year of the Tiger

Jordan Brand will launch its annual CNY collection, and for 2022, its Chinese New Year collection will celebrate the ‘Year of the Tiger.’

The stand-out pair in the collection is the Air Jordan 1 Low OG that comes highlighted with a tiger print and colors from a tiger. Using a premium theme, Black satin lands on the liner. Next, a tiger head appears on the heel, and the outsole has a Yellow translucent tint that displays a large Wings logo. Limited to 5,000 pairs, each is individually numbered.

Also releasing is the Air Jordan 6 Low and the Jordan Legacy 312, that’s inspired by Ge Kiln porcelain, one of the Five Great Kilns of Chinese ceramics produced during the Song dynasty. Ge porcelain has a cracking pattern that inspired the toe box texture on the Air Jordan 6 Low.

Not only will footwear release, but matching apparel. Included are t-shirts and sweaters that have a Jumpman logo with cloud and bird graphics around it. Also, in the collection, we have a reversible Black and Orange bomber jacket with a Chinese-inspired buckle design.

Jordan Brand CNY Chinese New Year 2022 Release Details

You can expect the Jordan Brand CNY 2022 Collection to release in the Greater China region on December 30th. A global launch will take place at select retailers and Nike.com in February 2022. Below, you can check out more photos that will give you a closer look.
