Montreal design studio JJJJound has a long history of collaborations, especially with New Balance. It comes as no surprise that the studio would debut its own 2002R since the model is one of the more sought-after from the brand.
This New Balance 2002R by JJJJound features a premium theme while constructed with Grey, Steel Blue, Cream, and Blue. Paying attention to detail, the shoes are built with mesh, pigskin suede, and leather. We have mostly shades of Blue and Grey with Black on the “N” logos across the panels. Off-White hits the laces for a vintage feel, and JJJJound’s branding lands on the tongues and insoles. Other details include White and Cream on the midsole and a Black N-Ergy outsole.
