While no pictures and/or production information are yet available, Sneaker Files has received word that there will be an Air Jordan 6 (Retro VI) produced in a collaboration with Gatorade. We were not told of a specific colorway, but there’s at least a 24% chance that an infrared colorway will be re-conceived!
The Gatorade x Air Jordan VI will release in February of 2009.
It looks like 2009 will be the year of Jordan collaborations; From Gatorade to Space Jam?!

Take another look at what 'infrared' is linked to, folks… "24%" chance is will be *RE*conceived… 24%, as in the AJ XXIV. That is independent of the Gatorade VIs. Expect to see the infrared concept on the XXIVs, not the Gatorade VIs.
As for the Gatorade VIs, they best be much better looking than the '08 Olympics. I still feel cheated with those… taking my favoriate AJs and making them shiny white with rainbow colors. Good lord…

Well hopefully the reason why little feedback about the shoe has been given since the initial posting on Oct 30th has something to do with Jordan brand trying to suprise is with an og colourway. Personally, i don't mind either the infrared/white or the maroon/ off white. They are both dope. Gatorade doesn't necessarily have to be orange and green. Gatorade-inspired could also mean the shoe takes off after a particular flavour of the energy drink. Only hope that this flavour is red , maroon ir infrared.
If it's green and orange I'm giving up on Jordans. This time I mean it!

the gatorade 6s are red and black with green accents and the back has the gatorade symbol. on the samples. just droppin sum knowledge.
