FlyKix Sneaker Boutique – Grand Opening Event Recap

FlyKix, Atlanta’s premiere sneaker and clothing boutique nestled in the
heart of Atlanta’s historic Castleberry District celebrated their grand
opening with an epic two part celebration. The style and feel of this
unique concept boutique, new to the Atlanta market, is unlike any of its
predecessors. Infusing custom fitting stations, an in-store lounge, and
market specific limited edition footwear & apparel – FlyKix’s merchandise
represents a collision of lifestyles and subcultures infusing the arena’s
of music, skateboarding, sports, street art, and original style. The
celebrity filled, grand opening of Flykix took place March 24th – 26th,
2011, with a series of celebrity and brand hosted events including the
SNEAK(er) PEAK – an invitation-only, brand exclusive revealing hosted by
Don Cannon (Celebrity DJ./Producer), Anoop Desai (American Idol
Finalist/Recently Featured in Complex Magazine), Keinon Johnson (National
Director – Interscope Records/Co-Owner TEAMFCC Marketing) an
d Middleman (Celebrity Stylist/The Style Session Firm). SNEAK(er) PEAK –
also featured a G Shock trunk show and sneaker artistry courtesy a Laila
Ali (Visual Artist) event sponsored by Remy V. The grand continued with
THE COLLECTION – a public in-store on Saturday, March 26th hosted by Greg
Street (Sneaker Head/ Radio Personality V-103), that featured a live
performance by Spot (Grand Hustle Recording Artist) and (Cyhi Da Prynce
(G.O.O.D Music/Def Jam Recording Artist). THE COLLECTION – was sponsored
by Jump, ALIFE, Heyday, Native, HUF, Crooks and Castles, Tree of Life
Pomegranate Wine and MillerCoors featured their: Peroni Nastro Azzuro and
Blue Moon beverages.

Notable attendees included: Braylon Edwards (New York Jets), Glenn Dorsey
(Kansas City Chiefs), Will Packer & Rob Hardy (Rainforest Films), Sean
Falyon (MTV Sucker Free Countdown Artist), Pill (Maybach Music)
