Last Friday, adidas and DMC celebrated the launch of the “My adidas” 25th Anniversary Superstar with 2 in-store appearances; one at Dr. Jay’s in Harlem and the other at the adidas Originals store in SOHO.
Fans lined the sidewalks in Harlem on Friday morning to meet the King, DMC. Backed by a soundtrack from DJ Mick Boogie, fans greeted DMC, bought the limited edition sneaker and got their pictures taken with him. Later that afternoon in Soho, even more fans showed up for the second event, only this time, they were treated to a special impromptu performance from Tanya Morgan, 6th Sense, Nitty Scott MC and DMC himself.
