The Converse SHAI 001 “Green Beam” will release on September 24, 2026. Also known as “Shock,” the pair combines Black with neon Green details and brings back the zippered shroud that helped define the original SHAI 001. The retail price is $140.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Converse introduced the SHAI 001 as a performance basketball shoe designed around the Oklahoma City Thunder star’s style of play. The model takes a different approach from traditional basketball sneakers, using a futuristic shape and a covered lace system. The upcoming “Green Beam” version keeps that setup while switching to a Black-based color scheme.

Going over this Converse SHAI 001, it features Black across the upper, giving the shoe a darker appearance. Green Beam adds contrast to the tongue and other branding details, while additional Black elements finish the shroud and lower portion of the shoe.
