Concepts is connecting with Nike Skateboarding again to extend upon their ‘Lobster’ series. Next up from the two is the ‘Purple Lobster’ Nike SB Dunk Low which is set to release during December.
This Nike SB Dunk Low comes dressed in a Voltage Purple and Court Purple color combination. Highlighted with shades of Purple across the upper, we also have a checkerboard picnic tablecloth pattern on the liner. In addition we have White around the Nike Swoosh and other small detailing while Black covers the midsole and Purple running across the outsole which completes the look.

The Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Purple Lobster’ is set to release this Friday, December 14th exclusively at Concepts in-store at their NYC and Cambridge locations as well as online at 11AM EST. On Saturday, December 15th they will be available at select skate shops. On December 17th this pair will release on Nike SNKRS. Retail price is set at $100.

Update: Nike has unveiled the official images for the ‘Purple Lobster’ Nike SB Dunk Low Pro. This pair will be available via Nike SNKRS on December 17th. Retail price is $100.
Update: Concepts and Nike Skateboarding are celebrating their 10th Anniversary of the ‘Lobster’ Dunk by releasing the Purple color scheme.
CONCEPTS remains authentic to key design features of the original 2008 Red Lobster Release. Deon Point explains why: “In terms of classics, the Dunk is amongst the elites. The OG SB in particular, has a devout following, so we opted for the original tooling. We even forewent CONCEPTS branding on the padded tongue, staying true to our first collaboration. I think the details separate it from the rest. The metallic swoosh, metallic speckle, picnic lining, and rubber brands, have all become iconic over the years.”
We first saw the ‘Red Lobster’ release, then the ‘Blue Lobster’ and after that a year later, there was a friends and family ‘Yellow Lobster’ edition.
For 2018, Concepts will release the ‘Purple Lobster’ along with a ‘Green Lobster’ and ‘Orange Lobster’ which is expected to be a friends and family exclusive.
