You might remember us showcasing the Asics Gel Lyte III known as the High Voltage, which came in a few different colors. We are a bit surprise that the same theme is coming to the Gel Lyte V as Asics hasn’t shown them much love as of late. It’s understandable though, as it’s the Gel Lyte III 25th anniversary and are the favorite amongst the two.
The High Voltage Asics Gel Lyte V features a leather and mesh upper that fuses black and grey. For the voltage, orange is used on the liner as well as the forefoot outsole, branding heel, tongue and dabbed in the laces. Taking a closer look, you can see on the midsole the marble pattern which the Gel Lyte III also used.
More than likely more High Voltage Asics Gel Lyte V’s will drop, making this a pack just like the III’s. Expect this pair to hit retailers this Spring.
