Air Jordan XX8 White Bamboo Closer Look

After sharing some off what Jordan Brand has coming for All-Star Weekend, it looks like we have a detailed look at the “Bamboo” Air Jordan XX8. Having made their first appearance on the sneaker scene around last years ASG, the colorway never released. In making their return, it looks like they may actually be releasing. Flush with a crisp white leather build, the touch of bamboo about the heel logos is a great aesthetic touch. Like Nike makes millions of pairs of J’s for people who hoop. There is no excuse for this crap besides nike is destroying the brand’s popularity so they’re other athletes’ shoes won’t sit in stores. Jordan’s shoes were never just a hooping shoe so why make it that now?

  50. Lol never Jordan sold out it may have taken longer but J’s always sold out. I’ve been buying Jordans for more than 20 years dude. The jordan ones sold $180 million worth of shoes in the 80’s lol you have no clue what you are talking about. Jordan’s didn’t sell out in white neighborhoods back in the day but they were also not shipped to them that often. You need to do some more resarch on J’s my man they are the top selling brand EVER! Nike couldn’t even compete with adidas and reebok until Jordan signed with them. Jordan is nike’s life line. I know I’ve been doing research on Jordan’s brand for the past 2 years.

  55. No they did not. And the “Like Mike” campaign was a gatorade commercial not nike. Lol they used cartoons to get kids into Jordans because they knew the kids were the ones who would want to buy his shoes. Lol you must be young because you obviously don’t know how J’s were markted back in the day I do. They never marketed his shoes to hoop in lol not with bugs bunny and looney tunes and Mars Blackmon aka Spike Lee in the commercials lol. The reason we went and bought J’s was because of Jordan himself not hype hype started recently when ehite people got involved. We loved Jordan he was everyones favorite basketball player no matter who or where you were. It wasn’t about basketball it was simply people loving a man that displayed greatness at something. Just like everyone loved Michael Jackson, so he sold 750 million record from hype too or was it him that made people love him? The shoes were marketed for Nike to turn a profit not a basketball shoe no Jordan was just a basketball shoe even Jordan wore his shoes off the court. Smh! I swear you dude today just repeat things other people say instead of finding out for yourself.
