It didn’t come until the year 2007 where the Golden State Warriors (No. 8 seed) would qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 1994 and defeat the Dallas Mavericks (No. 1 seed) in a 7-game series of the NBA Western Conference Playoffs.

In that exciting first round Mickael Pietrus wore black Air Jordan V PEs. His version of Michael Jordan’s 5th signature Air Jordan sneaker would feature a classic black nubuck upper with yellow accents throughout the shoe including the back heel’s Jumpman logo, lace locks, and his jersey number “2” as stitched on the side panel. Finished out with a clear sole, this would become one of a few Mickael Pietrus Jordan PE’s that we would see as he’s since departed the brand to join Chinese footwear company Peak.

Check out detailed images of the Pietrus “Warrior” player exclusive and give us your thoughts on whether or not you would’ve worn the black and yellow sneakers had they ever released.
