As film director Spike Lee gears up for the debut of his latest film Red Hook Summer which appears in theaters this Friday, the Jordan aficionado receives a commemorative edition Air Jordan Son of Mars custom from Van Monroe.
Nicknamed the “Son of Mookie”, this Red Hook Summer-inspired custom pays homage to the movie and Mookie, a popular character and delivery guy for Sal’s Famous Pizza in Spike Lee’s 1989 classic, Do The Right Thing. This Jordan Son of Mars custom features a black and red motif with hits of university blue, a matching “Red Hook Summer” hang tag, the widely recognized 40 Acres and a Mule logo done up in white, and a clear outsole.
