Air Jordan 5 Toronto Blue Jays by DeJesus Customs

In paying homage to the Toronto Blue Jays World Series wins in both 1992 and ’93, sneaker customizer DeJesus Customs has created this ill pair of “Toronto Blue Jays” Air Jordan V’s. This pair of customs not only adds to DeJesus impressive resume, but also bridges the gap between the Blue Jays and Bulls championship runs. While the upper sports a touch of the vintage Blue Jays color, it is the baseball like stitching graphic that puts DeJesus’s eye for detail center stage. Read on after the jump to check out a detailed look and be sure to drop us a line in the comments section below.

  1. These are close to being really dope.
That shade of blue is the biggest drawback, IMO.
Had the blue used been the same shade as the fitted?
    ..way iller, IMO.
That sky/light blue is too much/bright for my personal tastes.
    That said?
    These are ‘cool’.
Like the concept, the overall work is clean. The baseball stitches throughout the upper, especially on the heel are pretty dope. The Jays logo clean & well placed.
Just that shade of blue holds these back from being Joe Carter worthy, IMO.
    Dope work tho’.
