Jordan Brand introduced the “Thunder” Series in 2006, which featured mostly Black throughout and Yellow details. In 2012, we saw the pair retro and once again in 2023. This pair was a hit amongst Air Jordan 4 fans, so they decided to expand on the series. In 2022, the Jordan Brand released the “Red Thunder” iteration, which comes in the same color blocking but swaps the Yellow for Red.
2024 will celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 4, which means we will see more colorways released, including originals and new pairs. Our sources also told us that more color options will be available quarterly. Staying true to its word, we have the “White Thunder” Air Jordan 4 as part of JB’s Fall 2024 collection, with a release in August.
This Air Jordan 4 comes dressed in a clean yet simple Black and White color combination. Highlighted with Black nubuck across the entire upper, with the same shade on the tongue, wings, and part of the midsole. Differentiating from past Thunder releases, White will fill most of the midsole, eyelets, Jumpman on the tongue, insoles, and heels, and underneath the Black mesh on the base. Completing the look is a Black rubber outsole.
