Jordan Brand is taking a different approach to the 30th-anniversary collection. Instead of only bringing back the Air Jordan 9 and Air Jordan 11 from the original movie, the brand is creating new colorways around characters and moments from Space Jam. Lola Bunny now gets her own Air Jordan 3.
The upper on this Air Jordan 3 starts with White leather. Light Soft Pink overlays then add color around the toe, eyestays, and heel. Hot Pink stitching provides another layer of contrast, while Royal Blue lines the inside of the shoe. The combination is a direct reference to Lola Bunny’s look in the film.
The left tongue features a new pink Hare Jordan Jumpman logo, while the right uses a traditional Yellow Jumpman. The Lola Bunny theme continues inside the sneaker. The insoles feature Lola mid-dunk on one shoe. The other includes her famous “Don’t Ever Call Me Doll” quote from Space Jam. A gradient circular graphic appears around the Jumpman Air branding on the heels, a nod to the Looney Tunes logo.
Each pair comes with a fluffy hangtag designed to resemble Lola Bunny’s tail. Pink-speckled Royal Blue laces are laced up, while a fuzzy alternate lace set comes with the sneakers. Special packaging completes the presentation.
