The pair was made for Michael Jordan in 2003 to celebrate his 40th birthday. This is another pair that Jordan Brand is bringing out of the vault. A true gem, getting your hands on a pair is near impossible, but that will change in 2026.
In 2003, Jordan Brand made a player exclusive for Michael Jordan of the “Laser” Air Jordan 3. The sneakers were created to celebrate MJ’s 40th birthday. Rumor has it there are 40 pairs in existence. However, it’s just a rumor, and to date, only one set of photos has circulated.
Dressed in Phantom and Multi-Color. This Air Jordan 3 comes highlighted in Phantom across the base, but the true highlight is the laser detailing across the upper. Instead of elephant print, the pair will feature laser detailing on the overlays. Additionally, the Nike Air is laser-engraved, while Tan leather adorns the inside of the tongue and liner. Other details include a White midsole with Black accents and a Grey rubber outsole.
