One of the classic colorways of the Air Jordan 12 is the “Taxi” iteration. Originally released in 1997, we saw the model return a handful of times to retailers. However, the last time we saw the shoes debut was in 2013. Fans have been asking for a return, but it will be a bit longer before we get a chance to purchase.
To hold some over, Jordan Brand will release the Air Jordan 12 “Red Taxi” during Summer 2024. This marks another colorway that resembles the OG pair, but with a twist.
This Air Jordan 12 comes dressed in a White, Gym Red, and Black color combination. Shown is a mock-up. However, it’s an accurate representation of what’s releasing. Utilizing White leather across the upper, Black drapes the mudguard, liner, and heel. Instead of Metallic Gold on the eyelets, Gym Red is used, which also appears on the “Jumpman” overlays on the sides. Finishing the look is mostly Black on the rubber outsole.

You can expect the Air Jordan 12 “Red Taxi” to be released at select retailers and Nike.com on May 25th, 2024. Launching in full family sizes, the retail price for men is $200, $160 for grade school, $100 for preschool, and $85 for toddler sizes.
