Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2024 collection is one of the better ones of the year. Adding to the lineup, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Satin Shadow” will debut in Holiday 2024. Dropping in women’s sizes, the shoes take the classic color scheme and apply satin materials for a new look.

The original release of the “Shadow” Air Jordan 1 took place in 1985. Finding an original pair nowadays is scarce, but it won’t be cheap if you do. We wouldn’t see another release in 24 years, but the shoes retrod for the first time in 2009. Using slightly different materials, this rendition featured the Jumpman on the heels and tongues with a Greyed-out Wings logo. Jordan Brand would launch a second retro in 2013, and this pair was closer to the original. However, not 100% accurate. The last time we saw the shoes debut in OG form was in 2018, and it didn’t take long for them to sell out.
An iconic color scheme in the Jordan Brand line, we would see new adaptations of the Air Jordan 1 in the Shadow color blocking. A low-top version was launched for the first time in 2015 and will be re-released in 2024. In 2017, Aleali May used the colors on the Air Jordan 1. Dubbed “Satin Shadow,” her rendition also featured chenille fabric, Metallic Silver details, Red branding, and an embroidered Wings logo. Lastly, Jordan Brand launched a low-top rendition to hit the links for those who love to golf in 2022.
This Air Jordan 1 will come dressed in a Black, Medium Grey, and White color combination. It is highlighted with Satin materials, while the Wings logo on the ankle is embroidered. Black covers the base, wraps the toe, collar, eyestays, laces, and rubber outsole. Next, Grey drapes the Swoosh logos, ankle collar, around the heels, and across the toe box. Completing the look is a White midsole.
