adidas Originals steps forward with new iterations of two of its most popular contemporary silhouettes this month, applying a range of striking colorways to the Yung-96 and Falcon models.
Channeling elements of ‘90s footwear design in each of their silhouettes, the release places the nostalgic appeal of classic sportswear aesthetics front and center. Both models boast a mesh construction with suede and nubuck overlays, placed atop a lightweight EVA midsole with a durable rubber outsole, while a number of accents complete the picture.
On the Yung-96 model, this is drawn out by the shoe’s timeless panel design, complete with 3-stripe mark and an aggressive midsole tooling, while having color palettes from classic ‘90s models.
Meanwhile, the Falcon silhouette assumes a vastly different mode. The shoe’s EVA midsole is finished with a classic Torsion bar, while adidas Trefoil logo hits on the forefoot, heel and tongue round off the shoe’s nostalgic feel.
