Much like Nike did with the Barkley’s, adidas is letting loose plenty of colorways for Dikembe Mutombo’s signature shoe and although he didn’t play for the “Knicks” for long, some will wish he did after seeing these. A collegiate royal takes over the upper including the toebox, heel and tongue all consisting of luscious nubuck on top of the white sole, the laces are also the royal blue color. A black and white congo theme along the side is complemented by the hi-res orange inner lining and other accents. Mutombo’s number 55 near the ankle and his logo on the tongue are also collegiate royal blending with the backgrounds. There has not been word on a release date however we will keep you posted as soon as possible.
