The sneaker world has recently been affected by plenty of up-and-coming brands, such as Supra, the Hundreds, and even Greedy Genius is fighting to stay afloat and relevant in today’s sneaker culture. That said, it is now time to usher in the dawn of the Taboo Deltah shoes era. Taboo, of the Black Eyed Peas, recently debuted his new line of Deltah shoes and then joined his fans for a little party outside of the release party’s venue. The Taboo Deltah shoes are available in low-, mid- and high-top cuts; however, they will be on sale exclusively from FootAction stores nationwide for the going rate of $65 to $85 each depending on the cut. Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas and NY-based footwear brand, JUMP have teamed up for a limited-edition collaboration of sneakers called TABOOxJUMP. Pictured here are Taboo with Kanye West and artist/producer/DJ – David Guetta. Taboo, a self-professed sneakerhead and sneaker collector, visited the JUMP boutique at 89 Spring St. in SoHo and first saw the Zeto, the style that would eventually become his own signature model. Taboo worked with the team at JUMP to design four different color ways: black, gold, red, and white. The shoe was released exclusively for sale at Saks Fifth Avenue, but has since been released to other retailers, including Bloomingdales. Each pair is packed in a limited-edition satin bag and drawer box.

After collaborating on the King of Sneakers Custom Footwear x Taboo – Obama Nike Air Force 1, the two are back at it again with a different purpose. Not using the Nike Air Force 1 as its base, the Supra Skytop is transformed with a simple palette of red, black and silver. As the election approaches, Presidential candidate Barack Obama and his followers continue to make efforts to bolster support. With that said, this is most evident with the teaming up of the Nike Air Force 1, King of Sneakers Custom Footwear and musician Taboo. At this past MTV VMA Awards, Taboo was seen wearing the custom “Obama” Nike Air Force 1 done by King of Sneakers Custom Footwear. The sneakers are composed artwork of Obama as well as the traditional U.S.A look in the form of a gradient upper and white stars and stripes.
