The Reebok team is most definitely making a splash this year with its new Zigtech training shoe. But, being one of the OG players in the sneaker game, Reebok also knows when and how to return to its more classic silhouettes. To that extent, we would like to show you two pairs of the Reebok Freestyle high made especially for the women in red/white and purple/white colorways. This set of two Reebok Freestyle highs will be a part of the brand’s Spring 2010 collection, so be on the look-out for these to hit select Reebok retailers soon after checking out some shots of each colorway after the jump.

The Reebok Freestyle Hi Women’s comes in two premium colorways: black/pink and black/purple. The defining characteristic of these shoes is the fuzzy material at the ankle strap and inner lining, making these some cute picks for any girl. The black/pink pair uses a black patent upper with black snakeskin side panel, while the purple pair does the exact opposite, with a snakeskin upper and black patent side panel. Each shoe is available for sale now for about $122, so treat your little lady to something warm for her feet.

Hello Kitty fans rejoice! To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Sanrio’s very own Hello Kitty, HK has teamed up with Reebok to pop champagne in style. The two brands created the Hello Kitty x Reebok Freestyle Hi INTL-LUX Kitty in two sweet colorways: white and black. Both shoes feature leather uppers which rock allover Hello Kitty designs. Each shoe strictly sticks to the main colors of black and white, except for the iconic red bow lace plate. The inner lining is quilted in leather to add to the detail of the shoe. HK fans can celebrate along with the Kitty by copping these shoes at a price of about $150 each.

Comic book lovers everywhere are rejoicing at the release of Reebok‘s ‘Wonder Woman’ Freestyle colorway. The All-American superhero has been honored in this metallic version of the Reebok Freestyle, the model closely resembling Diana Prince’s trademark outfit. Featuring a blue star-spangled heel tab, red upper, and metallic gold accenting, the model leaves no detail forgotten, even mimicking her indestructible bracelets with gold lace stays. Comicons and the Fourth of July aside, the model might be a little difficult to pull off, but our patriotic readers will love them regardless.

John Maeda, the President of The Rhode Island School of Design, recently partnered up with Canton, Massachusetts company Reebok to design two limited versions of the brand’s iconic Freestyle model. The professor borrowed from his diverse to background, crafting the double-strapped aerobic shoe in black/pink/white and white/purple/black/multicolored. The end result is dubious at best; the Emoretion (the pink jawn) is distinguished by a disgusting fade pattern and block-lettered words of inspiration that mark up the heel. (See “brilliant” and “visionary” after the jump.) The multi-colored product, well, that’s just a monstrosity. But hey, I could be wrong–this could be a classic “refined art” versus “mass culture” struggle. Maybe it’s me who isn’t cultivated enough to understand the skilled cerebral efforts of Maeda.
