Back in the spring season, we brought you a look at some of what the Greedy Genius team had in store for this holiday season. We showed you what many will argue is the best of the brand’s silhouettes to date- the Ocean Runner- in a navy blue and a black colorway. We now have word that these will be a part of the “Yacht Club” collection Greedy Genius plans to unveil this holiday season. Along with the two aforementioned pairs, other Ocean Runners in red and in brown, for example, will be included. Greedy Genius is back in action with a new version of their boat shoe/sneaker hybrid, “Ocean Runner”. Similar to one of the colorways we showed you a few months ago, the new ‘Big Blue’ model uses a deep navy to accentuate its nautical design elements, this time choosing to forgo the use of lighter detailing. Featuring bold lacing details and a crisp honeycomb outsole, the shoe has proven to be one of Greedy Genius’ more successful models. No release date yet, but you can expect the colorway to drop early in the holiday season.

Greedy Genius just unleashed two new versions of their nautical high top, the Ocean Runner. The Runner hit the ‘net in black/black nubuck and navy blue/white premium leather and will be available at retailers in the coming weeks. The shoe features a vulcanized midsole, honeycomb outsole, and lacing details (like the prominent “X” on the ankle collar) that improve fit.

Anti-leisure brand Greedy Genius has created a niche in the oft-convoluted lifestyle market by manufacturing designs in color schemes and with materials that few companies would dare implement. The Apache Onyx, a Jordan V Low-inspired product, features nubuck, 3M, mesh, patent leather, and a translucent outsole. Casually-oriented independent brand Greedy Genius recently offered up a first look at their stable of upcoming releases for this year’s holiday season.  More particularly, the brand has focused its efforts on the Cool Breeze Adriondack, a high-rising silhouette that’s emphasized by a vulcanized midsole, reinforced ankle rand, and horizontal stitching reinforcements. The Adriondack is toned up primarily in “oily” brown, but is enhanced with green canvas, blue 3M, and yellow stitching accents.  The model is slated to release on November 28, 2008, or as it is now commonly referred to, Black Friday. Greedy Genius has teamed up with a few interested people over the past few weeks and their latest client includes Yonehara Tasumasa or also known as the artist Yone. The photographer teams up with Greedy Genius to implement a repeating photograph design on the upper of what looks to be the Paratrooper.
