A while back, NIGO sold A Bathing Ape to I.T. from Hong Kong. Thus, several fans immediately got to wondering what would happen to NIGO and Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club. Rumor has it that Jay-Z reportedly purchased the licensing rights to produce and distribute all things BBC. However, it seems as though that was mere hyperbole because the latest bit of news says that Jay-Z is simply going to be a partner of the brand from now on. Either way, it seems as though we might be seeing some Jay-Z influenced BBC products soon. How do you feel about this possibility?

BBC has just brought out another new colorway for their low top casual model which is now available in limited quantities at select retailers including CaliRoots. With its low top silhouette and camo styled canvas upper, these gum bottomed sneakers are ready for the warmer Summer months.

BBC’s new Spring Ice Cream lineup has arrived and available for purchase.

Part of the new lineup includes the BBC Drippy Sneaker. Both colorways feature a white canvas upper, midsole and rubber toe cap. Depending on your preference you can rock the Drippy in Navy or Pink. Back in August we reported on the BBC/Ice Cream Drippy Sneaker hi that are definitely an eye-catcher. For this release, BBC has toned it down considerably. Pictured here is what the brand has dubbed the “Nothing” sneaker because the “plain” uppers, which each come in a different solid color. Some other detailing can be seen in places like the insoles and along the gum bottoms. You can scoop these up from select BBC retailers as of today.

Pharrell and Nigo’s BBC/Ice Cream brand has been making big splashes in the fashion world due mostly to their shirts and accessories. Now they try to continue expanding their sneaker credibility as they did with news of their “Space Beach” release. For this Fall, the BBC/Ice Cream team has applied some of their graphics on a high-top silhouette that is sure to remind us all of the famous, high-top Chuck Taylor sneaker. With four colorways including one that’s predominantly black, one blue, one red, and one green/purple, this collection of sneakers is prepared for a September 9th release at select BBC/Ice Cream retailers.

Pharrell’s BBC/Ice Cream brand is at it again. One of the earliest pieces of news we received in 2009 involved the attention-grabbing BBC/Ice Cream Waffle Lo. Whether looked favorably upon or not, eclectic releases like these have become commonplace within the highly renowned entertainer’s brand. For Fall/Winter of 2009, however, BBC/Ice Cream attempts to fly high while holding on to summer with its release of the “Space Beach” collection. Made up of hoodies, t-shirts, and even jewelry, this collection also includes a pair of Chukka sneakers in a predominantly navy/denim blue colorway with tan and white accents that all sit atop a completely white sole. Japanese retail stores expect an August 29th release date, so stay on top of your local BBC/Ice Cream retailer(s) in anticipation.
