The Air Jordan team most certainly has a big holiday season coming up- highlighted by the Space Jams, three pairs of XII’s, and even quite a few I’s coming out. But there is perhaps no other sneaker brand that can hook its fans more effectively than team Jordan can- and here’s more proof. Nike’s annual Doernbecher project benefits critically ill children that are receiving treatment or recovering in the Doernbecher Hospital. This year, one pair of the Nike Air Yeezys will be auctioned off. . . But there’s a twist! Kanye’s signature shoe features the tooling of the Air Jordan VI (6)! Those who are fortunate enough to own the Infrared Air Jordan 6 (VI) know how fresh it is to lace up their pair. Images of the 2010 ‘Infrareds’ have just surfaced, and most will be surprised at how clean the sneakers look. The shoes are highlighted by Chicago Bulls colors, and most clearly, an icey sole. The Infrared Jordan release date is still unknown, but rumored to be in 2010. The Air Jordan Spacejam release has been marked on most calendars for the holiday season, there is a chance that the Infrared 6 will drop in time for the 2009 holiday season as well. Brand Jordan has a tendency to release Black/Red colorways close to Christmas; with the most recent example being the 2008 Air Jordan 11/12 countdown pack, which originally scheduled to release after the holiday. Here’s a first look at Jordan Brand’s Spring ‘10 retro of the Air Jordan VI (6) in white with black accents. The shoe pairs a premium leather upper with a translucent outsole. The shoe’s guiding light, however, is its speckled black/white midsole that’s perfect for coolin’ out in Summer 2010. The Air Jordan VI (6) Retro White/Black will be available at select Jordan accounts in Spring 2010.
