Nike Dunk Mid SB - Aegean Blue / Aegean Blue Sample

If you think this sample looks familiar, you are right. It dates back to 2006 and is designed originally using the Nike Dunk SB Mid Peacock and Nike Dunk SB Mid Linoleum. Instead, Nike SB decided to split the two designs into two different sneakers. The floral pattern was placed on the Linoleum Dunks and the rest of the sneaker was left for the Peacock Dunks. Rumor has it that only 5 pairs were produced, but the design was eventually scrapped and will never be released. Via NSB.

Lowtop Love: Nike Zoom MVP (2 Colorways!)

Steve Nash is a rarity in the NBA; he’s one of the few players employed that strictly balls in lowtop sneakers. The Phoenix Suns frontman and Nike Basketball cornerstone will spend the 2009 seasons abusing opponents in the Nike Zoom MVP, a sleek shoe that places emphasis on smooth transition, wicked traction, and heel fit sturdier than Riker’s. The MVP has already hit Asia in a white/orange/team grey color scheme and a black/grey/royal blue/volt colorway. Both versions should hit the U.S.  in the coming weeks. Images via Kenlu.

The Return: Nike Clogposite

2009 is shaping up to be quite the year for the Nike Retro stable as the “Beaverton Behemoth” borrowed from all areas of their venerable back catalog to reintroduce product into an already retro-laden market.  The Nike Clogposite originally released during the formative years of the decade as an off-court laceless lookalike to the Nike Flightposite 1. Featuring Zoom Air underfoot and a ‘Posite upper, the shoe quickly gained notoriety for its daring color combinations and unmatched comfort. The model will be available sometime in early 2009–we’ll be sure to update here with pricing and release date information when the specs become available to us, so be sure to check back!
