The Nike Air Max 3, formally known as the Air Garnett III, has made its way to retailers in its iconic White/Black/Blue ‘Minnesota Home’ colorway. The second OG version of the shoe to be retrofitted, the model features a White and Black leather upper with gradient Blue accents — but lacks the aforementioned Garnett branding of its predecessor. Previewed back in October, we now have some more detailed images of the upcoming Cyclope x Veja collaboration fixed-gear sneakers. Made with ecological materials like vegetable-tanned leather and Wild Amazonian rubber, the fair trade shoes are set to be released in two colorways, Black/Blue/Turquoise and Black/Red/Cormin. Air Jordan Spizike – ‘Black Cement’ Detailed Images

Our first look at the latest Air Jordan Spizike model came in the middle of last week, giving us a general feel for the colorway and its use of patterns. We now have some more detailed images that clue us in to some of the more subtle detail work, primarily on the tongue and lining. On top of a interesting word-map lining, the model features a blue Jumpman logo on its tongue, as well as the usual ‘Mike’ and ‘Mars’ lace stays and Mars Blackmon insole silhouette. Last week we brought you a look at a pair of the Nike Dynasty high that received navy blue and grey treatment in honor of the Georgetown athletic program. This Nike Dynasty high just recently found its way to three House of Hoops locations- Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. Now there’s a comparable Chuck Taylor, except this one comes in a red leather upper inspired by motorcycle jacket designs. The shoe comes with a quilted lining, even actual zips and snaps that drive home the motorcycle jacket theme even more. Complete with a white sole and red shoe laces, this Chuck Taylor “Leather Jacket” will retail for $200 and release on December 1st, 2009 from Converse (RED) stores in London, San Francisco, and New York City. Ten percent of total net sales will go towards the Global Fund that aims to eliminate AIDS in Africa as well as help make people much more conscious about its threat. Nike Max Lebron VII Original “Red Carpet” Z-Corp 3D Resin

Many sneaker fans were and continue to be excited about the Nike Max Lebron VII “Red Carpet” colorway, which we just informed you would be restocked in early December. For those of you who are not only sneakerheads, but also sneakergeeks, a few pictures have surfaced online that might be of interest to you. Pictured here is the original Z-Corp 3D Resin model of the “Red Carpet,” which basically is the final product’s “floorplan,” if you will. It’s a computerized sample of the shoe that aids in the design process by giving designers a glimpse of what the color blocking and scheme might look like before it goes into production. Jason Petrie, the designer of the Red Carpet Lebron VII, forwarded the fact that Lebron had asked for a pair to be designed specifically for the red carpet unveiling of the “More Than a Game” movie. And the rest is history.
