Yesterday evening, the 2009 BET Awards hosted by Jamie Foxx were held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Though there were many emotional moments throughout the show, including the grand tribute to Michael Jackson, the ‘09 BET Awards hosted various celebrities that were spotted wearing the hottest sneakers currently available. Though Kanye West has his own signature sneaker, he decided to switch it up and sport a pair of Timberlands instead, while Carmelo Anthony stayed true to his brand and rocked an Air Jordan 1. Ron Artest also left his own K1x sneakers behind, and wore some Air Jordans. Todd Bratrud linked up with the folks at Nike SB (Skateboarding) to fabricate the “Brainwreck” Nike Dunk SB. The shoe debuted at the Debacle premier in Los Angeles, and is colored in a unique varsity red/grey/white style. “BRAINWRECK” is printed on the Dunk’s heel and inner lining is comprised of a woven pattern that resembles brain innards. The Nike “Brainwreck” Dunk SB High by Todd Bratrud will hit this upcoming Holiday season.

Paris based fashion website LA MJC recently directed this exclusive photoshoot featuring exclusive photos of Kanye West and his collection with Louis Vuitton. The images present each shoe clearly; and what’s clear is, is that each design reeks of quality and elegant detailing. Materials include rich suedes, nylon, and premium leathers. Jordan Brand is kicking off their Fusion IV series with the Air Jordan Fusion IV (4) White/Varsity Red, inspired by the “OG” Air Jordan IV (4) Fire Red/White/Black-Varsity Red. The hybrid features a smooth white leather upper that’s complimented varsity red “Rubber Wings” and a black heel tab. The IV’s iconic netting lays across the shoe’s middle.
