BrownTerminator2

The Nike design team has come up with a slew of Terminators in both high- and lowtop cuts this year. Recently, a series of five rather colorful Nike Terminators were previewed by us to mixed reviews. Moreover, a Terminator Hybrid Pack included two more Terminators- one of which came in a predominantly brown colorway. However, we now have another brown pair to battle for sneakerheads’ love. This pair sports red shoe laces, black stitching, and a completely white sole. How do you think this Nike Terminator colorway matches up to any, if not all, of the other pairs we’ve caught a sneak peek of? With no general stateside release information, these are available now from certain Nike online retailers.

Skate Mental x Nike SB Dunk High - November 2009

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski - Vacahyde Preview

Amidst the variety of previews that leaked for Stefan Janoski’s signature skate shoe with Nike SB, the latest one was leaked by the man himself. The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski comes in a Vacahyde design, using a brown and white fur colorway. The name “Vacahyde” was coined by Janoski, with the Spanish term “vaca,” meaning “cow,” and hyde, to translate into “cowhide.”The name fits perfectly, as the upper is donned in full cow fur, from the swoosh to the tongue, offset by leather laces and a white midsole. This would be perfect for some cow-tipping in your cow costume.

MacKnows1

Two spring seasons ago, Nike directly paid homage to the world class tennis player John McEnroe with a black Zoom Tennis Trainer. Now, after seeing athletes like Adrian Peterson and Bo Jackson get the Nike Air Trainer 1 treatment, Nike is set to remind us that “Mac (also) Knows.” Pictured here is a Nike Air Trainer 1 made up in a mostly light grey/white/black colorway with tennis ball green accents on places such as the Nike swoosh’s outline and the shoe’s insole. This pair will also release as early as next week, along with the “Bo Knows” release. This almost BEGS the question- which Nike Air Trainer 1 “knows” better than the other what the sneakerheads will gravitate towards? Is either colorway or the other a great consolation prize?

BBCIceCreamDigiCamo

One thing is for sure about the BBC/Ice Cream brand, its products are, for better or for worse, neck-breakers. As the summer season ended, we caught a glance of the “Space Beach” chukkas that were generally well thought of. Now, the BBC/Ice Cram team tries a more classic and tried colorway on the same chukka model with a digital comouflage upper that also sits on a completely white sole and comes with white shoe laces. How do you think this pair of Digital Camo chukkas compares to the Space Beach pair? Very select BBC/Ice Cream retailers have begun receiving these, such as the Tokyo flagship store. So good luck “hunting” these down! (Pun intended.)
