2010 is definitely a year of sportswear retro classics, especially with this Nike Tennis Classic set to release next year. The Nike Sportswear Tennis Classic AC ND is a whole mouthful, but a whole lot of style. These Nikes use a full black premium leathe rupper with a classic white vulcanized midsole. Vibrant yellow is added in the mix at the back panel where the Nike logo is printed in black. The swoosh is outlined in perforations on the side panel to make this shoe even more unique.  This shoe is set to release next January for the Spring season.

Although Bo Jackson has long since retired, he still lives in is, or at least on us through all of his signature shoes with Nike. Nike has retro’d the Nike Air Trainer SC in an Oakland Raiders colorway of black/grey/white. The Nike Air Trainer SC High Bo Jackson #34 has released today in a classic colorway, with #34 stitched on the back where the Nike sign usually resides. The shoe uses black leather on the upper with a grey mudguard. Many of the leather panels are perforated for style and breathability. This shoe is a great pick for sports or just plain sitting around the house, so get your own Bo for your feet today.

The Nike Cortez is definitely making a comeback this approaching Spring, as another colorway has surfaced for our viewing pleasure. The Nike Sportswear Classic Cortez Nylon comes in a pine green/white-vibrant yellow colorway. This Oakland A’s-esque shoe uses a pine green nylon and suede upper, along with a white leather swoosh to match the inner lining, laces, and white and vibrant yellow sole. Vibrant yellow is also placed on the Nike logo on the back panel to finish off this clean colorway. It’s set to release in February 2010, so please be patient.

1979 has returned thirty years later, in the form of the Nike Sportswear Challenger. The Nike Sportswear Challenge ND VNTG comes in two vintage colorways: varsity royal/black-sail and metallic silver/new magenta. Both shoes use a mix of suede, mesh, leather, and nylon, to truly give the shoe its ‘79 flavor, especially with the pre-yellowed midsoles and vintage style black outsoles. Classic white nylon tongues make the shoe even more authentic, and the thrashed Nike sign on the back heel panel just kills it. These are available for pre-order now for $80 each.

With the latest retro of the Nike Air Trainer SC out now, Nike has even more planned for Bo Jackson’s signature shoe. The Nike Air Trainer Low SC is featured in a brown colorway. But, there’s something special about this particular shoe. These use a special leather material known as “greasy,” which is similar to the material on baseball gloves. The leather shows signs of wear after continuous use of the shoes, which gives the shoe a unique look for each person rocking these. Also, these use Flywire on the upper, along with laser etching at the ankle, which reads “Bo Knows 1989.” You should see these for Summer 2010.

Nike brings their Air Alpha Force II back in one of its most popular OG colorways. Worn by Sir Charles back when he laced up for Philadelphia, the model utilizes the classic 76ers Red/White/Varsity Blue color scheme.
