Of course, February marks Black History Month; and, as is customary by now, Nike has come up with a number of different designs to help commemorate this year’s celebration. Included in the Nike Black History Month Collection that will release tomorrow from participating Nike Sportswear retailers is a Nike Blazer, Air Force 1 Low, Air Max 1 and Huarache Free Run. Each sneaker comes in a midnight fog upper with colorful themes that accent each particular shoe in places such as the tongue and ankle lining. Originally released in 1997 and rocked by Jason Kidd, the Nike Zoom Uptempo V is dropping once again this Summer.

Seen here in white/navy-red, this looks like the perfect colorway to drop before the 2012 Summer Olympic Games get underway in London. Sporting a white leather upper and navy and red accents throughout, the kicks are finished off with a semi-translucent red sole.

Take a look at the kicks and expect a drop in the months ahead.

With the beginning of the release of the Nike Black History Month collection a mere days ago, it’s only right we look for some way to bring our readers some more clarity regarding plans to cop or pass up. That said, after revisiting the Nike Blazer from said collection, we now take another look at this pack’s Nike Air Force 1 low. This colorway is in line with the Blazer and other Nike models included in this collection; however, the retail asking price is $135 in adult sizes.

As you may recall, we found out back in October that the Nike Total Air Pillar is set for a return here in 2012. Now we have a look at the first two colorways that will be dropping.

A bit of a different look for the ’90s trainer, the kicks will be hitting in these green/black and red/black colorways before the OG looks make a return later this Summer.

We have seen that the Nike Air Max 1 has been included in this year’s Black History Month collection. However, for later this Spring sneaker season, there is another colorway already on its way. Pictured here is the Nike Air Max 1 in a reflective 3M upper and a “down to business” black/grey color palette. Leather and mesh are used along this colorway, with suede paneling also making an appearance. This great design will be releasing in the coming weeks as part of the brand’s Spring 2012 offerings.

The WMNS Nike Air Max NM Nomo returns once again in another stellar colorway. Along with the release of the Black/University Gold-White over this past weekend, the Black/Pink-White colorway arrived as well on the shelves of local retailers.

Composed primarily of  a smooth black nubuck and mesh upper, this popular baseball inspired model boasts pink and white accents and signature branding throughout. As most guys probably won’t luck out on a pair of these, they are however available in Grade School and Preschool sizes for those with smaller sized feet. Although the Nike Air Huarache BBall 2012 is making a lot of noise as of late, now we take a look at a recently dropped colorway of the Nike Zoom Huarache 2. Pictured here, said colorway comes in a black base with varsity maize accents by way of the tongue, inner lining and part of the sole. This Nike Training sneaker is retailing for $115 in adult sizes; and, with the economic state of our country being what it is, asking this much for this Nike design could prove hurtful to its chances of experiencing strong sale numbers.
