Two weeks ago we brought you an exclusive SneakerFiles preview of a Nike Air Max BW 2010 that Nike plans to release next year. However, there are so many sneakerheads out there who absolutely love purple colorways that the wait might be impossible to stand. However, Nike has begun to release this Nike Air Classic BW pictured here to perhaps help hold us over. Similar to the colorway of the Nike Air Classic BW 2010, this sneaker comes with a predominantly white upper and purple/black accents throughout. Check with your local Nike retailer to see if it’s one of the select few to have these in stock- especially if having to wait until next year for the 2010 model of the Nike Air Classic BW is eating away at you.

We last saw what could have been between Patta and Nike with the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Sample. Well, this is what it is now, as Patta has secured its name on the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Premium Quickstrike. This Air Max 1 sports a stylish white/chlorophyll-matte silver colorway, making it look as if it were one of the earliest Air Max 1s on the market. The upper is comprised of a variety of materials, including a white mesh toebox and side panel, chlorophyll green linen mudguard and swoosh, grey nubuck side, and matte silver linen back logo tab. The white midsole nicely matches with the shoe, along with its green/black/white outsole. Patta makes its mark on the tongue tag and special anniversary insole. Nike Air Maxes still have a strong presence in today’s sneaker game. The latest Air Max to be added to the long list is the Nike Air Max ST. The Nike Air Max ST comes in a white/grey/obsidian colorway as a JD Sports exclusive. The upper consists of Nike’s lightest synthetic materials in grey, white and obisidian.  It has a nice black swoosh to contrast the colorway, and the tongue sports the ST logo in bright blue. The black outsole also features a very subtle speckled design that a few recent Nikes have been using as well. These babies are available now for $131 online.

JD Sports has done it again, getting another clean colorway exclusive of the Nike Air Max Classic BW. The Nike Air Max Classic BW comes in a sweet black/white-neon orange colorway. The shoe uses a black mesh and nubuck upper with a synthetic leather swoosh.  The black is contrasted nicely by white piping, heel and midsole. Neon orange is placed at the midsole , tongue and inner lining, to make it seem like you’re stepping into some orange dip. This Classic BW is available now at JD for a price of $140.

There’s nothing light about the latest releases for the Nike Air Max Light. The Nike Air Max Light comes in two heavy colorways: black/dark grey/max orange and dark grey/metallic silver/orange. The Air Max Light features a mesh upper, with black and grey nubuck material on the first pair, and metallic silver leather at the toe and swoosh for the other. The tongue tag sports the Nike Air Max Light logo, making these runners nice fits for any occasion. These are available now online for about $140 each.

After the success of the Opium x Nike Air Max 180 Quickstrikes, Opium is at it again with Nike to make another classic runner a popular shoe. The Opium x Nike Air Max ST comes in a white/grey/orange/purple colorway, which will definitely be a crowdpleaser in Phoenix, Arizona. The shoe features a white suede and mesh upper, with a grey nubuck mudguard. These soft tones are highly contrasted by the bright orange swoosh and purple mesh inner lining. A white midsole is used, encasing the Air Max unit in black, making this a clean shoe yet again. The Nike Air Max ST logo is sported in bright orange at the tongue to finish off this classic shoe. Let’s see how this release turns out compared to the 180s when it releases next year.

If running never made you hungry, then you weren’t running hard enough. Nike Sportswear commissioned the likes of eight artists, designers, and the like to give their piece of Nike Sportswear art to showcase at the 1912 Space. Olle Hemmendorff definitely seemed hungry when he constructed his Nike Air Max 90 Hamburger. The upper consists of sesame seed bun, with a cheese covering outlining the swoosh. The laces are also cheesed out with tomatoes as the lace panels. The midsole is where the meat is at, with a tomato as the Air Max logo. Ketchup outlines the Air Max unit in the midsole, and the bottom of the bun serves as the outsole. This is a great piece of art dedicated to NSW, but too bad it doesn’t have a long shelf life.
