John Rattray is doing big things to advocate for mental health awareness. Not only is he a skateboarder, but he created ‘Why So Sad?’ to help suicide prevention in skateboarding and everywhere else.
Nike SB has caught wind, and to help, they are teaming up with Why So Sad? to release a special SB Dunk Low that’s part of this year’s fundraising.
The Why So Sad? x Nike SB Dunk Low comes with Light Blue leather on the base and mesh tongues. Next, we have Dark Blue wear-away overlays that, once removed, will show Yellow. On the lateral heel, we have an embroidered skateboarding chicken. Other details include a White midsole and a translucent outsole.
Furthermore, a portion of the sale of the skateboards and shirts with art by Jon Horner will go directly to the Why So Sad? foundation.
