The 31st Footwear News Achievement Awards has crowned Virgil Abloh’s Air Jordan 1 is the winner of this year ‘Shoe of the Year’ award.
Virgil’s Off-White x Air Jordan 1 comes after Rihanna (2016 Shoe of the Year / FENTY Puma Creeper) and Kanye West (2015 Shoe of the Year / adidas Yeezy Boost 350). In 2014, Stan Smith won the Shoe of the Year Award — will be honored with this year’s Manolo Blahnik Lifetime Achievement Award.
