With 2013 coming to an end, we have done numerous stories on “Year of the Horse” themed sneakers. Adding to the list is Vans’ own version of the Year of the Horse. This trio pack consists of the Vans Sk8-Hi, each made with faux horse hair in navy, pink or red hues. Each sneaker has suede overlays, brown leather heels, and equine imagery on the woven tongue tag. A horseshoe is printed on the waffle outsole further signifying the Year of the Horse. Added details include white foxing, metal eyelets and braided rope laces.
No word yet on the exact release date, but we can assume that the Vans Sk8-Hi Reissue “Year of the Horse” pack will launch soon at select Vans retailers. Check back with Sneakerfiles for the exact release date and price.
