Picking up the lens over eight years ago, Mel D. Cole has found himself at the forefront of the New York City photography scene as his gritty imagery presents raw perspectives of his subjects. The self-taught lensman takes viewers through the NYC subway and over the city’s skyline as he shares his own perspectives on his childhood, visual style, music photography and speaks candidly on “the new photographer” of the next generation.
