Jun Takahashi’s second Converse x Undercover collection draws influence from the opposing style tribes seen in ’70s cult film.
It features two iterations of the Chuck 70, both constructed with a boot zipper embedded between a laced zipper guard that offers an alternate lace-up structure with metal ring accents. The iconic Chuck ankle patch is swapped out for an embroidered “NW” patch, an abbreviation for “New Warriors,” a term also printed on the silhouette’s tonal toecap. All elements are designed to form a tension between high-concept elegance and rough-and-tumble rebellion.
