Marcus Jordan and his store Trophy Room will have another collaboration with Jordan Brand during Holiday 2021. The two will release the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7.
The next collaboration by Trophy Room was rumored to be another Air Jordan 1. This rumor started due to Marcus Jordan showcasing images of the front of his new store location that will open in Holiday 2021. In the photo, you can see a silhouette with a question mark, which is clearly the Jordan 1.
However, we were told by our sources that the next Trophy Room collaboration will be the Air Jordan 7, a model that the shop has yet to collaborate on. Currently, the details are slim, and we can’t confirm if it will be the Jordan 7 Low or Mid. Also, the pair is rumored to be tied to Barcelona, this is where Michael Jordan and the Dream Team captured Gold at the Olympics in 1992.
This Air Jordan 7 comes dressed in an Obsidian, Dark Obsidian, True Red, and Metallic Gold color combination. Constructed with premium suede, the shades on the heel mimic the Olympic rings. Just below it, we have the Jumpman shield and Trophy Room logo in Gold with ‘Monte Carlo’ and ’1992’ on the insoles for the location where the Dream Team would practice. The liner features the date June 22nd, 1992, for when the Dream Team initially practiced and scrimmaged in California. Michael Jordan’s signature is debossed by the heel, and ‘New sheriff in town’ is embroidered behind the tongue for MJ’s quote to Larry Bird and Magic Johnson after the team’s scrimmage. Each pair comes with special packaging, a clipboard, and extra laces.
Trophy Room Air Jordan 7 Release Details
You can expect the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7 to release at Trophy Room on November 5th. The retail price is $225. A release will take place via SNKRS on November 9th. Below, you can check out more photos that will give you a closer look.
