SoulGoods made the news several years back when they connected with Nike Sportswear to launch a trio of Dunk Highs. But before that, the retailer made its mark in 2016 when it opened its first store. It is 2024, and we look ahead to what is in store for the Beijing fashion spot. This time, they will take their talents to Jordan Brand to release their own Jordan Air Ship. Dubbed “Prove Yourself,” a release is set for January 2024.
This Jordan Air Ship comes dressed in a Baroque Brown, Black, Cement Grey, and Smoke Grey color combination. Taking a premium approach, the upper is dressed in Brown suede with open mesh across the toe box, a feature typically not seen on the Air Ship. Furthermore, the upper represents the streets of Beijing from the ‘80s and ‘90s. Around the toe is Grey suede, but the highlight is SoulGoods’ tiger logo debossed on the lateral collar and the number “5” embroidered in Black and White by the heels. This mark is a tribute to the 1957 film Basketball Player No. 5. Other details include embroidered phrases on the inside of the tongues and liner, while a two-tone rubber sole completes the look.
