Social Status connected with Jordan Brand to celebrate Art Basel which took place last week. The two released the Air Jordan 1 ‘Art Basel’ Pack that includes the ‘Igloo’ and ‘Rust Pink’ edition.
Inspiration for the two comes from the city’s Art Deco heritage. Taking the iconic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Black Toe’ and gives them a South Beach color theme.
The initial location for the pop-up was shut down and Social Status wound up relocating the event. This ended up as a positive as the event was moved to a 120 foot yacht.
With the two Air Jordan 1s, Social Status also released a special hoodie which featured the hotels address of 1100 West Ave.
