Ronnie Fieg recently showcased the upcoming New Balance 992 ’Steel Blue’ which is a tribute to the New Balance 1300 ’Steel Blue’.
Going over this pair, this New Balance 992 comes constructed with leather, mesh and suede throughout for a premium build. In addition we have Light Blue mesh on the base, Navy suede lands on the overlays while a Cream hue covers the leather on the ankle and surrounding area. Other highlights includes the ’N’ logo on the sides while ‘USA’ branding is placed on the heel to finish the look.

Update (5/21): The ‘Steel Blue’ inspired New Balance 992 and 998 will release on Friday, May 22nd which is part of Kith’s Spring 2 collection and will drop on Kith.com. The two are also part of a five sneaker collection with the other three sneakers expected to launch soon. Once more information is available we will make sure to update.
Update (5/20): Recently Ronnie Fieg previewed the New Balance 992 and now he gives us a look at the New Balance 998 which uses the same theme as the ’Steel Blue’ 1300. The two will release part of Kith’s Spring 2020 collection. Currently a release date is not unknown but more information will be available soon.
