Update (1/12/26): Official photos have arrived the 2026 “All-Star” Zoom Huarache 2K4. It turns out the pair will feature “LA” on the ankle, which is different from the pair I was shown. The shoes will launch in February for $210.

We have another early 2000s classic returning, the “All-Star” Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4. However, the pair won’t resemble the initial release, but the retro pair. The model, which Eric Avar designed, was initially released in 2004. It takes inspiration from classic shoes, like the Air Force 1, Zoom Hyperflight, and the Air Flight Huarache.

We have seen this pair drop two times. The first was in 2004 and worn by Kobe Bryant during the NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles. The second release occurred in 2016. However, the 2016 pair differs from the 2004 pair, lacking the LA embroidered on the ankle. As for the 2026 pair, it will come with LA on the ankle.

This Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 is dressed in a White, Varsity Royal, Varsity Red, and Metallic Silver color combination. The upper is highlighted with White and the signature embedded lines, and Royal Blue is on the Swoosh, around the heel, and toe. Red appears on the midsole, outlines the toe overlay, fills in the heel branding, and appears on most of the outsole. Other details include “LA” embroidered on the ankle with “2-15-2004,” the date of the NBA All-Star Game.
