There’s more to sport than championships and team memorabilia. With a new “Just Do It” campaign at hand, Nike looks to inspire the participation of sport in countries like Turkey where the idea may not be as prevalent as other places in the world like the United States. In turn, a spark in the interest of sport amongst the community may help promote togetherness, a healthy lifestyle, positive views on various sports, and so forth.
Todayย Nike unveiledย its newย “Just Do It”ย campaignย in Turkey.ย The film continues the narrative of the latestย โPossibilitiesโย campaignย by showing the playful side of sport.ย In a country where sport participation is among the lowest in all of Europe, the campaign aims to inspire athletes at every level to start aย real movement inย the streets of Istanbul and around the country.
At the heart of the new campaignย is a film featuringย football playersย Burak Yฤฑlmaz and Didier Drogba;ย runnerย Gamze Bulut;ย volleyball playerย Naz Aydemir;ย and basketball playersย Engin Atsรผr and Birsel Vardalฤฑ.ย In the film,ย everyday athletes move fast and hard alongside the professional athletesย to power a โhuman printing press’.ย As the athletesย increase their physical effort, it increases the speed of the printing press. Their collective and incremental effort creates beautifully designed prints that show movement in a whole new way.
