Out with the old in with the new for the Nike P-Rod series, these updated skate shoes are sure to have the SB world buzzing. Nike put a Lunarlon sole underneath with flywire along the sides to keep the responsiveness and flexibility. The upper in this edition sports a grey and white fade throughout the entire body of the kicks with a “Green Glow” taking over the inner lining, tongue, heel panel and Nike Swoosh.
SB fans will be upset to find out that this pair will be sold retail for $130, which is just another name to add to Nike’s price hike list. The P-Rod 8’s will be listed for $40 more than the P-Rod 7’s but will assuredly keep his fan base and many Nike heads that dig the sneakers. There is no official release date, however it is expected sometime near the end of 2014, beginning of 2015.
