When LeBron James made “The Decision” and left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat, we knew that there would be some great games. LeBron joined South Beach with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, forming what was known as “The Big 3.” Although not the first “Superteam,” this led to talks about super-pairings being built. To celebrate this time, we have the release of the “Heat Wave” Nike LeBron 23, also known as the “Heatles.”
Going for a different look, this Nike LeBron 23 features cheetah print on the upper with faux fur, while dressed in White, Black, Hyper Pink, and Multi-Color. The lower part of the shoe is covered in iridescent material, making it shift colors when the light hits it. One element I am a fan of is the branding on the heels, which reads “The Heatles.” Building upon the pop, Pink adorns the inside of the tongue with Metallic Gold on his signature. Other details include an iridescent Swoosh on the toe and a White rubber outsole.

Bottom Line
I know Cleveland fans were not happy when LeBron left and joined Miami, but the time with the Heat gave us some memorable basketball moments. Some good, some bad. Although I am not a huge fan of this pair, I can appreciate the storytelling that went into it. While I would buy a pair if I found them at outlets, I have really liked some of the previous LeBron 23 drops.
