We first saw this colorway on LeBron’s feet during an offseason workout. This theme follows previous colorways that he has given us a first look at. 

Looking closer at this Nike LeBron 23, it features ornate patterns on the upper and a shiny makeover. The mudguard, which connects to the midsole, is shaped like LeBron’s crown logo, featuring perforations and iridescent detailing. What’s unique about this pair is the heels, which display “40K+,” resembling vintage currency lettering. LeBron’s signature appears on the tongue, and a small crown is stamped onto the medial side. The outsole design, done in Black, resembles the number 23. Lastly, each pair comes with unique packaging that features iridescent detailing and includes a special booklet detailing LeBron’s journey.

Update (9/4/25): Nike Basketball has officially announced the release of the “40K Gold” LeBron 23. Officially known as “Uncharted,” the shoes will be released on October 3rd for $210 via SNKRS. The shoes are part of the Forever King collection that will include 23 different colorways highlighting his career.
