UCONN Huskies became victorious once again and what better way to celebrate the big win then a pair of sneakers? Mache was summoned by Nike to design a pair of Kobe 9 Elites for coach Geno Auriemma.
Geno Auriemma joined the Huskies organization in 1985. Since his arrival the team has accumulated a total of 9 Championships.
The UCONN Nike Kobe 9 Elite customs are truly a piece of art. When you take a closer look, you can see drawings that best represent Geno, for example a UCONN mascot, a basketball and even his name.
