To start the 2023 NBA Playoffs, Kevin Durant showcased his sixteenth signature shoe, the KD 16. This was when the Suns took on the LA Clippers but soon eliminated them and are now playing the Denver Nuggets. Recently, he showcased the upcoming Nike KD 16 ’NY vs. NY’ that pays tribute to Nike’s yearly high school summer basketball tournament for New York City’s five boroughs. Furthermore, the pair will release to the public.
This Nike KD 16 comes with Red across the upper, a tribute to the Big Apple. Next, we have White and Metallic Gold accents on the Swoosh logos, ‘NY vs. NY’ on the tongues, and ‘Easy’ on the heels. Constructed with a textured multi-layer upper, synthetic mudguards that wraps the shoes, and comes in a low-cut build. Highlighting the shoes, it comes with a new TPU caging system with ventilation on both the lateral and medial sides and blends onto the midsole. Other details include Zoom Air cushioning and a White rubber outsole.
