Nike Inspires Women to #JUSTDOIT

Things just wouldnโ€™t be right without a little competition; the opposite sex always made for a better challenge anyway. In todayโ€™s society, while women are disproportionately represented in various area of sport and the workplace Nike is promoting change as they inspire women to #JustDoIt.

Marking the 25th anniversary of โ€œJust Do It,โ€ย Nike is inspiring women across Europe to push boundaries and reach new goals. Today Nike released its new โ€œJust Do Itโ€ campaign in Europe. The latest installment of the โ€œPossibilitiesโ€ series, the film is a celebration of every woman who has tested her limits and embraced her potential to make September her most active month ever.

As viewers are introduced to the filmโ€™s heroine, a series of different challenges and scenarios unfold, each pushing her – and those watching – to defy their limits and boundaries. Directed by Adam Berg, the piece features multi-platinum selling pop superstar Jessie J and FC Barcelonaโ€™s Gerard Piquรฉ, each of whom embody the Nike “Just Do It” spirit. Jessie J will also be featured in a Nike Training Club challengeย that NTC members can use to take their training to the next level.

โ€œNike challenged me to Just Do It, so Iโ€™m doing it,โ€ Jessie J commented. โ€œIโ€™ve been hitting the gym hard already and I hope that in some way I can help inspire more women to take up the challenge.โ€

Throughout September a series of unique and exciting Nike+ challenges will help women start their #justdoit journey. For example, the first Nike+ European challenge, โ€œRun The Distance,โ€ invites women and their friends to collectively run a marathon in a week, logging every step on Nike+. Also, โ€œNTC Early Birdโ€ challenges women to push their morning routines like never before.

As the most active month ever comes to an end, โ€œPossibilitiesโ€ inspires women to continue to reach new personal goals and make the extraordinary into the everyday; to get up earlier, work out harder, run faster and go that extra mile, all while using Nike+ Running, Nike Training Club and earning NikeFuel.

The Nike+ digital ecosystem has more than 18 million global members, and all are encouraged to share their activity through the #justdoit hashtag to inspire other women to realize new possibilities.
