Nike Basketball has a new colorway of the Book 2 dropping, and this pair stands out a bit more than usual. Instead of focusing strictly on performance or team-based colorways, the โHaven and Hectorโ edition connects directly to Bookerโs personal life. If the name sounds familiar, thatโs because Haven and Hector are Bookerโs Cane Corso, which has already been referenced in his apparel and past releases.
This Nike Book 2 is dressed in a Black, Multi-Color, Vast Grey, Amber Brown, and Metallic Gold color scheme. As you can see, the upper is covered in Black with fur throughout, a nod to his dogs. Brown hues appear on the Swoosh, representing his dogโs eyes, while Orange outlines it. The tongue has โDโ in Old English, and the inside of the tongue displays a picture of his Cane Corso.
As for the design, the Nike Book 2 sticks with its low-profile build, designed to keep players closer to the court while still delivering comfort. The shoe features a forefoot Zoom Air unit paired with Cushlon 3.0 foam, delivering a responsive yet balanced feel. The upper is expected to feature a molded construction or mesh, depending on the version, while maintaining a clean, modern look.

Bottom Line
As a dog person, I like the โHaven & Hectorโ Book 2. I know in the past we have seen releases inspired by Devin Bookerโs dog. However, this one is my favorite. The fur on the upper is different as well, something I do like, and of course, the picture of his dog.
