Nike Sportswear is quietly celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Blazer. Although the brand is releasing several color options, they aren’t launching the number of pairs they have on other models that have milestones, nor are we seeing any special collaborations. However, it’s a timeless shoe, styled for the ’70s, loved in the ’80s, and classic in the ‘90s. Launching later this year, we have a new Blazer Mid that is a women’s exclusive.
This Nike Blazer Mid comes dressed in a Pale Ivory, Pewter, Honeydew, and Sail color combination. Constructed with suede throughout, leather lands on the eyestays and overlays on the lateral side, which makes for a premium feel. Next, we have retro-inspired branding, Pale Ivory on the base, Pewter Swoosh logos, and Honeydew on the heel tabs. Other details include a foam-padded tongue and a White rubber sole.
